The Freedom Area School District offers athletic programs in the High School and Middle School.  The sports that we offer are Football, Boys Soccer, Girls Soccer, Girls Volleyball, Golf(Coed), Cross Country(Coed), Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Wrestling, Baseball, Softball, and Track & Field(Coed).  Our teams compete in the PIAA and the WPIAL. 

Admission is charged for all Varsity Football, Basketball, and Wrestling events.  Tickets are always available at the gate, and pre-sale tickets are available in school offices for Football.  There is not an admission fee for the other varsity sports, nor is there a fee for middle school sports unless they are a preliminary event prior to a scheduled varsity contest.  Our sports schedules can be found on our district web page.  For more information on our schedules or ticket information, contact the athletic department at (724) 775-7400.

Our goal is to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for our student/athletes.  Our coaches are knowledgeable and experience individuals who have a strong desire to teach their specific sports.  Some of our sports have booster organizations that volunteer their time to offer support to our programs.  If you are interested in becoming a member of one of these organizations, please contact the athletic department. 

Our student/athletes work hard to become the best athletes that they can both individually and collectively as a team.  Our athletic department stresses that sportsmanship and respect be displayed by all players, coaches, and spectators at our athletic events.  Please come out and support our teams!
